What are the criteria looked at when evaluating for  a prospective adopter?

Adopter fills in our adoption application which covers the basic criteria of garden size, where the dog sleeps and stimilation for the dog etc.

We consider if it the right home for the specific dog. All other animals in the home must be sterilised with their vaccinations up to date.

We are assisted by Scotty Valdoa. Should there be any behavioural problems the new owner is advised and they need to undertake to continue with the programme. 


We like to meet the potential family and childern in a nearby park to evaluate interaction. We access whether the children are compatible.
We evaluate the dog to ascertain if they are cat friendly

We meet in a park that is neutal territory to all animals involved. 


Yes, after 1 month, 3 months and 6 months then every year. We are in constant contact with the adopters. 

Available to assist with adoption programme through Scotty Valdoa. 


Yes. All of our dogs are rehabilitated in a home environment. Non of our dogs are in kennels. This enables us to have a good understanding of each dog and we are then able to match to the right home.
