About our School:
My motto is "put the fun back into training" as I believe that it is imperative for both handler and dog to enjoy the training/learning process. Everyone is encouraged to actively participate in class at whatever level they feel comfortable with.
The obedience, social and especially the competitive classes are becoming more and more popular, with many handlers wanting to go on to improve their understanding and bond with their pet.
I began clicker training in 1988 and in 1997 gave the first clicker workshop. This method of training became popular throughout the world, and I continue to give workshops throughout South Africa and in Namibia. When applied correctly, the dogs’ attention and desire to learn is greatly enhanced, making the whole learning experience more fun for both handler and dog.
