Method of Training
Lure & Reward : positive reinforcement

Course Content
  • Written material
  • Noise Desensitizing and dressing up in strange clothes
  • Handling and touch desensitisation worked on: hugging, picking up and putting on table for examination: grooming pup
  • Basic Obedience : sit, down, stand, wait for food, stay, recall out of play, recall to owner from a distance, also ahidden recall, give toy/bone, heelwalking, leave command for emergencies e.g. snake; relax/settle,;to accept isolation,; to negotiate an obsticle course.
  • Toilet Training Information
  • Management of basic behaviour concerns such as jumping  up, nipping, chewing, etc. Notes supplied as well
  • Off-lead socialization
  • Walks outside school. We take the puppies to meet chickens, ducks and horses.

App Number of pups in class: Usually  6—8    

Age of pups in class: we only take pups after they have had their 2ndVaccination------ age is usually 10—weeks at start,16 weeks at finish .
