The Ultimate Animal Charity Fund Raiser 2012
Hi everyone
Hope you all had a fantastic New Year!!
So it’s that time again were I put my plea out for assistance and I’m not afraid to BEG………. LOL!!
As you know last year with your HELP regarding donations, sponsorship not to mention everyone that performed and assisted at NO COST to the fund, we were able to raise R 92 000.00.
This money was split between the following charities:
Barking Mad Tracy Barrows
Kitty & Puppy Haven SPCA Midrand
Barking Mad SPCA Brakpan
Husky Rescue SPCA Germiston
The Jane Goodall Institute SA 4 Paws
Animals in Distress Wet Nose
The Cat Samaritan Irwin Animal Shelter
Free Me Rescue centre CLAW
Animal Ambulance
I’m looking at possibly doing it at CASALINGA in Mildersdrift this year on around the 4th August.
I want to go a little bigger this year so I have already put my plea out to the following bands:
Goldfish Locnville
Karen Zoid Flash Republic
Zebra & Giraffe The Parlotones
Prime Circle
I have already heard back from the Booking Agent for Locnville, She said that they may not be able to Help but she has other bands that she’s sure would be able to Help me.
However they just may want to be a part of an event that is getting bigger & better each year!!!
The Parlotones unfortunately would only be able to perform during the week for Pro Bono and not on a weekend. L
There is also an up and coming Girl band, Attack of the Strawberries and I know that they will be happy to be a part of this event!
I’m just waiting for them to confirm the date!
I have also sent an email asking the bands & singers from last year if they would like to be a part of it again this year.

I would also like to add that I already have a 4 plate Gas stove that was bought at last year’s fund raiser and donated back to me for this year,

I will update only once a week and not every time I get a donation/sponsor.
So you can expect an email from me either way every week.

The Cluny Animal Trust needs you! If not you, your family, friends, associates, even your enemies will be welcome as long as they help us.
Put on your thinking caps. Get on your computers, telephones, Blackberries, whatever else you use to communicate and tell the world what we need. Somewhere, there must be someone who can help us with something.
The Cluny Animal Trust ALWAYS needs: veterinary supplies, animal food, (dogs, cats, cows, etc- all sorts), food bowls, kennels (a crate will be fine, thank you!), blankets or any fabric that can be used as bedding, leads, collars, harnesses, equine tack, and whatever else you can think of to make some poor animal's life a little bit better.
The Cluny Animal Trust needs a hospital, preferably close to our vet, Dr Katherine Barker, in Fouriesburg. Do you have land or a building that is lying around doing nothing?
The Cluny Animal Trust needs a mobile clinic, which means a large kombi-type vehicle to transport the vet and her equipment to outlying areas where she treats so many animals in need.
The Cluny Animal Trust needs dvds, posters, pamphlets and other educational materials to educate animal owners.
The Cluny Animal Trust needs money, lots of it, to buy everything that does not get donated.
The Cluny Animal Trust needs you, your energy and your ideas, to help us in our fund-raising projects and to educate animal owners.
